　　皇帝（清了清嗓子）：你是朕最亲信的`臣子，现在派你去织衣房去看看那神衣纺织进度如何，速去速回，回来向朕如实禀报！

　　大臣：是，陛下。

　　（织衣房）

　　骗子正在织衣房里装作很忙碌的样子，听见来人的脚步声，装得更勤快了。

　　大臣（愉悦）：两位织工，新衣裳织得怎么样了？何时可以完工？皇帝陛下派我来视察了！

　　老大臣：好，我可上去报禀皇帝！

　　老大臣迈着轻飘飘的步子走了出去，还是装得一幅若无其事的样子，逢人便夸赞匹布的花纹有多么美丽，颜色有多么艳丽，引的其他人都浮想联翩。又过了几天，皇帝又派了一位诚实的官员去查看那俩个"裁缝”的工作情况。

　　骗子乙（指着空无一物的织布机对官员说）：您看，这花纹的形状是多么富有设计感的，这颜色间的过渡是那么自然！您可还满意？

　　官员(绕着织布机，面露为难，自言自语道）：天哪，这织布机上分明空空如也！可我

　　并不愚蠢啊！这大概及是因为我不配拥有现在这样好的官职吧？这也真够滑稽，但是我决不能让人看出来来！

　　官员（面露欣喜之色，目光中流露出赞许）：天哪，这布如此美丽，一看就是出自技术精湛的裁缝之手，我向你们保证，我对这些美丽的色彩和巧妙的花纹感到很满意！

　　官员（脸上显出一幅欣赏的表情)：那真是太美了，简直就是艺术品！

　　皇帝听完之后,决定再选一群特别圈定的随员，陪同他去看那他朝思暮想的布料。

　　骗子甲：哎哟，皇上您怎么亲自来啦！这件衣服快完成了，您快看看，满不满意？只有这衣服才能体现出你一国之主的威严啊！

　　皇帝：（大骇,自言自语)：这是怎么一回事呢？我什么也没看见！这可骇人听闻了，难得我是一个愚蠢的人吗？难道我不够资格当一个皇帝吗？这可是我所遇见的一伴最可怕的事情！不行，我可不能让他们看出来。

　　皇帝（顷刻间便掩饰好了脸上的惊异，面露微笑）：哎呀，这真是美极了，我十二分的满意！

　　两个骗子(露出讥讽的笑容）：这皇帝是多么昏唐无道，是多么愚蠢啊!这么幼稚的谎言都能将他骗的困团转！这钱，拿的可太容易了！

　　随员大巨(面上无波，心里却早已出现裂痕）：天哪，这织布机空空的，那两个裁缝是骗子吧！可就连皇帝和那两位德高望众的'大臣也么说，这可能真是真的罢。难道是我不称职？哦，我的上帝，这话要是被别人听去了，我的官位可就不保了！我一定得装出看得见这布的样子。

　　随员大臣(七嘴八舌):这布匹是那么美丽，我做梦都不敢想啊!这普天之下也就只有皇帝这九五之尊配得上这衣服啊!这布是华丽的，精纹的，无双的!皇帝啊，您为何不用这新的、美丽的布料做成衣服，穿着这衣服去参加快要举行的游行大典呢！

　　皇帝(点点头，表示赞同）：好！还有几天游行大实就要举行了！你们俩赶快做好衣服!我要賞你们每人一个爵士的头街和一枚可以挂在扣眼上的章勋，我要封你们当这世间最尊贵的裁缝！

　　两个骗子（娇声说）：好的，我们今夜就通宵赶制，一定让您在流行大典上穿上新衣服！

　　第三幕 游行大典

　　地点：皇国大街上

　　人物：百姓，皇帝，各位大臣，小孩儿

　　游行大典开始了，各位百姓们都从屋子里走了出来，人人都想看看那传说中美得无与伦比的布料长什么样。本来空旷的街道因为皇帝的到来瞬间人山人海。

　　百姓甲：天哪，皇上身上那件衣服可真好看！这样式，这花纹……啧啧啧，这衣服几千年都难见一次啊!

　　百姓乙：可不是吗，这颜色是多么绚丽，富丽而又不显得俗气，衬得我们的皇上容光焕发啊！瞧啊！这衣服的布料如此神奇,不会是出自神仙之手吧！

　　百姓丙：这衣服真是太美了，一定是上天看我们皇帝如好好，派了神仙来呢！这衣服无论是花纹还是布料，一看就是难得的修品啊！

　　一个小孩（天真无邪，稚嫩，心直口快）：可是他什么衣服也没有穿啊！

　　孩子的爸爸（十万惊讶）：上帝啊，你听这个天真的声音！

　　百姓们(窃窃私语)：他并没有穿什么衣服！有一个小孩子说他并没有穿什么衣服啊！

　　皇帝(心里有些慌乱，但依然强装镇定）：难道这是真的？！但不管怎么样，我必须把游行大典举行完。

　　许多年以前，有一位皇帝，他非常喜欢好看的衣服。为了要穿得漂亮，他不惜把他所以钱花掉。他既不关心他的军队，也不喜欢看戏，更不喜欢骑马车游公园。他每一分每一秒都在更衣室里度过。

　　一天，有两个骗子，他们自称是织工，能织出美丽的布。

　　骗子甲（毕恭毕敬）：“参见皇上，我乃专业织工，能织出美丽的布，不知皇上喜不喜欢。”

　　骗子乙（恭恭敬敬）：“皇上，这衣服有一种特性，它不仅色彩和图案都分外美观，而且缝出来的衣服有一个奇怪的地方，任何不称职的人或者愚蠢的无可救药的人，都无法看见这件衣服。”

　　皇帝（惊讶万分）：“哦！还有这种衣服，拿来看看。”

　　皇帝（暗自窃喜）：“这样我就找知道哪些人聪明，哪些人傻了”

　　骗子甲（手脚不自然）：“皇帝啊！你可知道这衣服费用很高，需金丝三吨，钻石两顿，玳瑁一千克，都必须是上等的。”

　　第二幕 大臣看新衣

　　地点：皇帝更衣室

　　人物：老臣们，诚实官员、皇帝、骗子甲、乙

　　骗子甲、乙行骗成功，开始装作工作的样子，可是他们的织布机上连一点儿东西都没，那些上等好物都被他们装进腰包。而皇帝也心急如焚，当他想起不称职或愚蠢的人时，他心里有些不大自然，他相信他无须害怕，便派了两位大臣看新衣，最后自己去看，并且试穿新衣。

　　诚实的老大臣（不敢相信自己的眼睛）：这，这不可能啊，我那么称职，是皇帝的得力干将，怎么会看不见啊？我决不能让人知道我看不见布料。

　　他（赞不绝口）：“哇！太美了，能见到这种衣服，真是我的荣幸！”

　　骗子甲、乙（窃笑）：“嗯，我们也很高兴，相信皇帝一定会非常喜欢！”

　　不久，皇帝又派了一位官员去看织布的进度，看看还有多久才能织好。

　　骗子甲、乙（高兴）：“你看这布匹美不美？”

　　官员（左看看、又看看）：“我并不愚蠢啊！难道我是不配拥有现在这么好的.官职吗？这也太滑稽了吧！但是我决不能让别人看出破绽来！”

　　官员（竖起大拇指）：“怪不得好的织工才能织出这么精美的布，真是太美了！”

　　官员：“这布不知道怎么形容称赞，简直太美了！”

　　皇帝（仰天大笑）：“怪不得是聪明的人选的布才会这么美！”

　　次日，皇帝就带着他指定的随从们，去看看那神气的布。

　　皇帝（心一沉）：我怎么什么都看不见，这可骇人听闻了，难道我是一个愚蠢至极的人，没资格做皇上，这——这，不可能啊！

　　皇帝（假装惊喜）：“哎呀，真是美极了，我非常喜欢！”

　　随从们（点头哈腰）：确实太美了！皇帝如果穿上这样的新衣服举行游行大典，那该多好呀！

　　皇帝（点点头，大声喊道）：“赏黄金万两，封地若干。封他们为“御用织师”。

　　第三幕 游行大典

　　地点：城市大街

　　人物：皇帝、大臣、老百姓

　　游行大典举行在即，骗子整晚都在装模有样的织布。大典开始了，皇帝带着自己高贵的骑士，骗子装着给皇帝换上新装，内臣们则假装捧着后裙。

　　群众甲（称赞道）：“皇帝的新衣，真是太美啦！”

　　群众乙（低声赞美）：“皇帝的新衣实在是太神奇，太美啦！”

　　人群中一个小孩（捧腹大笑）：“皇帝怎么什么都没有穿啊！”

　　小孩的爸爸（急忙捂住孩子的嘴，假笑）：“上帝啊，请不要听这个孩子天真的言语。”

　　人们（接连不断）：“他并没有穿衣服啊！有一个小孩说他什么都没穿：”

　　皇帝（骄傲、挺胸）：我宣布游行继续！
