　　一切的对话，都是全情境式的，而所有的布景、道具、装饰，都是美式的，在购物中心里，孩子可以使用代币，购买他想要的.玩具、衣服、布偶，最后到柜台结帐，而在玩具中心，孩子甚至在美语老师的教导下，一个步骤接一个步骤完成美劳作品，孩子虽然一开始不能适应，但也能充份体会和外国人对话的感觉，而在老师再三解释下，孩子也慢慢开始理解，老师所想表达的意思，气氛就在一开始非常紧张，到开始熟悉，最后渐入佳境，每一站几乎都能吸引小朋友的注意，难得的是，孩子们虽然有英文表达能力上的差异，却都十分喜欢这样的学习方式，看来，旧式的教学环境，实在无法满足现阶段孩子的学习需求，不过这惊奇又有趣一天，对渴望学习的孩子来说，还是太短了，还没回到学校，班上的同学就已开始期待，下次何时能够再次造访，这位于都市中心的国际英语村。

　　“妈妈，我回来了！”我边说边走进自己的小天地，等着妈妈像往常一样收拾桌子盛饭给我吃。过了一会儿，我走出小房间看到妈妈仍坐在那儿读英语。“嗨，看来妈妈今天要走火入魔了。”我轻轻地嘀咕着，“过一会儿再说吧！”我就回到房间拿出作业做了起来。

　　作业做好了，我抬头向上面的挂钟一看，呀，不得了，已经一点钟了，我一点半还得去上课呢！再看看妈妈，她还像一个机器人似的，只有眼睛、嘴巴在动。唉，还是自己盛饭吃吧。

　　我来到厨房，把所有的锅盆都掀了一个遍。天啊，竟然连一粒米饭，一滴菜汤都没有找到。这时，我想到自己的.小房间里有饼干，冰箱里有冷馒头。我只好将就着吃了一只冷馒头和几块饼干，再加上一杯牛奶当了一顿午饭。然后，我就去上课了。唉，这事还没有完呢。一连几天我和爸爸都对付着自己准备好吃的。
