一、教学目标与要求

使学生能初步运用 to be going to do sth.的结构，谈论将要发生的动作或表示意愿，是本单元的教学重点。学生应能基本掌握这个句型的各种句式，口头表达流畅，笔头表达正确。能独立完成练习册有关该句型的各种形式的练习，正确率不低于70％。进一步学习形容词的比较等级，掌握一些形容词比较等级的规则变化和少数不规则变化。能正确读出[u:][u]两个元音，学会并掌握[_(+]这一双元音。掌握本单元所列出对应这三个元音的字母及字母组合的读音和拼写形式。

二、教学重点与难点

1．句型：1) We're going to work on a farm. 2) We are not going to have any classes.3) What are you going to do this evening? 4) When/Where are you going to meet? 5) Why don't you come with me? 6) It's much better than having classes.

2．语法：1）学习“to be going to+动词原形”表示将要发生的事，或打算、计划、决定要做的事情；2）形容词比较级、最高级（Ⅱ）。

三、课时安排

本单元共用4课时，每课书用1课时。
