We have not as yet begun discussing the basic demands of the struggle. We can no longer wait.
Now is the time to intensify the struggle on all fronts. To relax our efforts now would be a mistake which generations to come will not be able to role in a united democratic and nonracial South Africa is the only way to peace and racial harmony. In conclusion, I wish to quote my own words during my trial in 1964. They are as true today as they were then. I spoke: I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the ideal of a democratic and free society in which all persons live together in harmony and — and with equal opportunities. It is an ideal which I hope to live for and to achieve. But if needs be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die.

三年级英语学习最终需要达到怎样的一个程度这是家长首先需要明确的
《新课程标准》要求：三年级学生对英语有好奇心，喜欢听他人说英语，能根据教师的简单指令做动作，做游戏，做事情（例如涂颜色，连线）能做简单的角色表演，场简单的英文歌曲，说简单的英文歌谣，能在图片的帮助下听懂和读懂简单的小故事，能交流简单的个人信息，表达简单的感觉和情感。能模仿范例书写词句。在学习中乐于模仿，敢于表达，对应于具有一定的感知能力，对学习中接触的外国文化习俗感兴趣。
三年级主要培养学生听、读、写的能力，但是由于大部分孩子刚接触英语，在学习过程中难免会遇到这样或那样的问题，那么接下来我将从听、读写这三个方面来说说家长在课下进行辅导需要注意的问题。
首先是听。三年级听力部分占总成绩的50%，也就是50分，由此可见听力的重要性。听的要求是能听懂句子中的关键信息，能选出正确的选项。那么课堂上的听力训练是远远不够的，日常怎么训练听力呢？我的建议是每天听读半小时，最少也要15分钟，每天都坚持听。听听里的时候需要养成好的习惯，专心听，不重复，不跟读。平常我们在班里进行听力训练的时候，总会有学生不自觉的`跟读，这样导致第二遍再听的时候跟不上。
第二，我们来说说读。现阶段单词要求会拼读。什么叫拼读，就是把这个组成这个单词的每一个字母给读出来。那，有的家长说了，到家了发现刚学的单词句子孩子不会读怎么办，这个时候就需要利用教辅让孩子去跟读。每天学习过的内容做到及时的巩固、复习。心理学上有一个著名的理论叫艾宾浩斯遗忘规律，强调遗忘总是先快后慢，先多后少，到一定程度后便不再遗忘。这就强调了巩固复习的重要性。孩子刚学，又没有处在一个全英的环境下，所以家长完全没有必要因为孩子不会读而焦虑不安。
写，三年级时书写的关键期，书写要求整洁、工整、不用改正液涂抹。字体是人的第二张脸面，重要性不用我再多说。这个年级阶段的孩子英语容易和汉语拼音弄混。经常不动脑子照抄书上的印刷体，印刷体和书写体搞混。写就需要把基础打牢，学会灵活的转换。
那么我要说的就这么多，最后想跟各位家长分享一段话：每个孩子都是一颗花的种子，只不过每个人的花期不同。有的花，一开始就会很灿烂的绽放，有的花，需要漫长的等待。不要看着别人的怒放了，自己的那颗还没动静就着急，相信是花，都有自己的花期。细心地合乎自己的花，慢慢的看着长大，陪着她沐浴风雨，这何尝不是一种幸福。

三年级英语，是小学英语学习中一个重要的起步阶段。其实要学好英语，课上占40%，其余的60%还需要学生在课后不断的巩固，加深记忆。在课上老师更多的是教授新知识，当然课上也会有少量的'时间巩固新学的知识。但是这些时间是公共的时间，而不是每个学生私有的时间，所以不可能照顾到每个学生，不可能让所有学生都达到相同的程度。况且每个学生对新知识的接受能力都是不同的，有的可能当堂就已经有很深的印象，很难忘记，但这肯定是很少的。大部分学生都只能是初步接触了新知识，要真正接受新知识还要学生在课后多下功夫，不然肯定会和别的同学拉下差距。所以这也造成英语成绩两极分化十分严重，所以请家长一定要从现在起重视孩子的英语学习，不然到了五六年级补都来不及了。
英语是一门特殊的学科，光靠学校几节课时间是远远不够的。在学校老师会尽最大的努力进行教学，但课余时间还需要广大家长大力配合。如：听录音、背诵要家长多督促;课本后的单词表是最基础的，新课之前我都要求孩子们回去先听磁带预习一下，以便于上课时能更好的，更快的掌握单词真确读音。有的学生做的很好，还有些学生没预习。老师也不知道家长是否了解孩子在学校的英语学习情况，希望家长能关注一下。为了协助孩子更好地学好英语，请家长配合老师完成以下工作：
1、确保孩子每天至少边听录音，边跟读课文15分钟，要读出声音，最好家长在旁监督，会更有效。
2、每天检查孩子的回家作业是否完成，保证第二天能按时上交。在这里我恳请每位家长认真督促孩子完成老师每天布置的作业，尤其是一开始，三年级英语刚刚接触书面作业，一定要严格要求他们的英语书写，写得不好的家长也可以要求他们重新做，检查作业主要看他们书写和格式以及上次老师的批改，注意检查他们有没有订正，有时候，老师在学生的作业本上批了订正，但是交上来的时候学生并没有去订正，希望各位家长能够支持老师的工作，如果您有什么意见也可以写在作业本上，便于及时沟通.
3、开学以来，很多学生忘记带作业本，带英语课本。课上只能和同桌共看一本书，结果是一堂课下来，老师讲的知识没有学到多少，和同桌的感情却加深了不少。三年级不同与一、二年级了，我希望家长能够每天按照课表提醒孩子收拾好书包，检查好明天要带的作业和课本，养成良好的学习习惯。
