　　大家好!

　　我是八年级二班的英语兼生物老师。作为一名英语教师，我深深感到肩上责任重大，为了让家长了解学生的学习情况以及了解我的教学水平和能力，在此，我进展以下成绩分析与各位家长分享和探讨。

　　1、尊敬师长，团结同学。

　　2、课堂纪律良好，上课积极表现和热烈讨论问题。

　　3、按时完成作业，遇到难懂的题时，主动问老师。

　　4、竞争意识强，都很上进。

　　我们的家长都非常重视孩子们的英语学习，大家都意识到英语学习不管是对我们的日常生活还是升学来说，都有着重要的作用，有着重大的意义。而我们中学阶段的教学目的在于培养学生的学习兴趣、良好的语言习惯、运用英语进展交际的'能力以及跨文化意识。因此，我的课堂也是围绕听、说、读、写几个方面对所学知识进展操练和运用。通过一段时间的教学，我发现这个班学生都特别负责，班风、学风也很好，最重要的是绝大多数的同学自尊心强，上进心强，这使我对他们充满信心。

　　但同样也发现了以下问题：

　　英语学习方面：

　　1、学习心态和态度不端正。少部分学生没有意识到学习英语的重要性，对于学习英语是抱着无态度。

　　2、学习习惯不够好。我要求学生在上课前集体朗读单词或课文，这对锻炼他们的英语口语和音准有很大的帮助，但是还是有好几个学生态度不端正，敷衍了事。我还要求读英语的时候用手指单词和句子，有利于对单词的记忆，并且能更好的集中注意力。但是有很多人没有这种习惯，眼睛盯着天花板，盯着窗户读的都有，甚至还有的同学边发呆边跟着读，这样就没有效果。还存在着严重的畏难情绪，我给的问题或是阅读材料还刚出来就有人抱怨“我不会做”、“这么难”、“看不懂”，我会反问他们“你还没看题怎么知道不会做?遇到困难首先想到的不是解决问题而是逃避，那么你永远不会进步”。这段时间这种情况几乎没有了。

　　3、少数同学根底不好。到现在26个字母还读不全、默不全。这也是颇让人头疼的问题。

　　4、阅读能力欠佳，有待提高。阅读在今后的升学考试，包括中考、高考、研究生考试以及大学英语四、六级考试中都占有很大的分值。但我们的学生对于阅读暂时还没有概念。我要求他们把阅读材料读三遍，第一遍泛读，也就是浏览;第二遍精读，把生词划出来，根据上下文理解单词的意思;第三遍答复以下问题，但是很少有同学能够严格按照要求完成，往往是读了一遍就不想读了。 针对以上问题，我也研究了一些方法和策略，需要各位家长的配合和支持。

　　1、催促学生在家听英语磁带，每周不少于1小时，最好能每天坚持听10—15分钟，这将对孩子的学习有很大帮助。

　　2、争取消化当天所学的单词，不要积压任务。我会在每单元完毕的时候组织一次听写，并要求学生带回家给家长过目。

　　3、请家长催促孩子在家里完成家庭作业，以免他们来学校在匆忙之中互相抄袭。有时的默写作业我也会烦请各位家长签字，这也是为了给学生一点点压力，让他们知道父母会经常检查他们的作业本，一定要认真写才行。家长可以让学生自己默写或者报中文意思都可以，但最重要的是在学生默完后，催促他们对着书本更正。

　　4、每一个单元都有阅读的部分，并且附有课后习题。如果你的孩子英语根底不是很好，可以催促他们先在家，做适当的预习。 生物学习方面：

　　每个学生对这个世界的事物充满了好奇心，上课时气氛活泼，积极表现，课堂作业很认真，家庭作业也能按时完成，考试成绩优异。

If you look around at the men and women whom you can call happy, you will see that they all have certain things in common. Artists and authors and men of science get happiness in this way if their own work seems good to them. But there are many humbler forms of the same kind of pleasure. The whole subject of happiness has, in my opinion, been treated too solemnly. It had been thought that man cannot be happy without a theory of life or a religion. Perhaps those who have been rendered unhappy by a bad theory may need a better theory to help them to recover, just as you may need a tonic when you have been ill. But when things are normal a man should be healthy without a tonic and happy without a theory. It is the simple things that really matter. If a man delights in his wife and children, has success in work, and finds pleasure in the alternation of day and night, spring and autumn, he will be happy whatever his philosophy may be. If, on the other hand, he finds his wife fateful, his children’s noise unendurable, and the office a nightmare; if in the daytime he longs for night, and at night sighs for the light of day, then what he needs is not a new philosophy but a new regimen--a different diet, or more exercise, or what not. Man is an animal, and his happiness depends on his physiology more than he likes to think. This is a humble conclusion, but I cannot make myself disbelieve it. Unhappy businessmen, I am convinced, would increase their happiness more by walking six miles every day than by any conceivable change of philosophy.
