　　在西方，圣诞节是一个重要的节日，据说圣诞节是来纪念耶稣的，传说圣诞夜还会有圣诞老人出现，如果你在床头挂圣诞袜，圣诞老人可能会偷偷地在圣诞袜里放上圣诞礼物。而在我们学校就过了一个在圣诞夜上过的圣诞晚会。

　　让我们扣人心弦的英语即将来临，我们个个都心潮澎湃。在英语晚会到来的前几天，同学都在忙着把自己班的`教室打扮很绚丽、新颖。我们教室也不赖，在教室的灯上，挂着五颜六色的彩带，灯一开，彩带就会发出耀眼的光芒，在讲台上面，还有一串雪花，正中间，还有大铃铛，窗子上，到处贴的都是雪花，好像真的下雪了一样教室的后门最花了，各种彩带都挂了下来，光彩夺目。我们再把桌子移到周围，中间空出。教室布置好了，就只要等待英语晚会到来。

　　让我们苦苦等待英语晚会终于到来了，那天晚上，我们早早地用好晚餐，快步流星地来到教室。英语晚开始了，我们同学们都把自己带的零食发好，接着就打开电视观看表演，看完，就开始班级表演。同学们一边带着圣诞帽津津有味地吃着零食，一边欣赏同学表演的节目，真是不亦乐乎。第一个节目是唱歌，表演完后，掌声一阵阵响起来，下一组是我表演课本剧，表演完，只听一阵掌声，我悬着的心终于放下了。后面几组表演完后开始玩游戏，接着又开始。过了一会儿，“圣诞老人”来了，全体同学都拥了过去，全班立即沸腾起来。

　　一个多姿多彩的英语晚会过完了。

　　同学们，你们对英语作业不算陌生吧？对，只要哪一天有英语课，那天就一定有英语作业。

　　今天，MISS李给我们上第九模块第一单元：《Letter From Aboad》，课文中涉及到：一般过去式、现在进行时和一般将来时等三个时态。我喜欢这篇课文，因为，这是一封信，信在我们学过的课文里“罕见”。

　　课堂上，老师没有给我们写作业的时间，布置家庭作业时，班里顿时变得鸦雀无声，因为，有一些不喜欢上英语课的同学希望作业少一点。当老师说：“今天作业只抄写本单元14个单词，每个单词抄写10遍”时，班里立刻热闹起来，有的人欢呼雀跃——那些学习差的同学希望作业少，所以很高兴；有的人窃窃私语——学习中等的同学对作业量无所谓；还有的人长长地叹了一口气——学习好的同学为作业太少而郁闷（大家对作业的量报以不同的'态度）。

　　回到家，我就开始抄词，14个单词，一共要抄140遍，我很快就完成了，因为我昨天预习了，顺便把单词背下来了。抄完词，我又选择eat和play两个词造句，结果遇到了拦路虎，我请教课本，顺利解决了问题（课本真是我们无声的老师）。

　　喜欢上英语课的人，盼望老师布置更多的作业，不喜欢上英语课的人，则是在有英语课那天祈祷作业少一点。总结我做英语作业的体会：要想完成的好，必须喜欢它。我很喜欢英语，从小就对英语情有独钟，所以，我觉得，做英语作业并不难。
