星期三的晚上，我要去上英语课。因为外面下着大雨，所以妈妈开车送我去，开到小区门口就堵车了，我们在车上看着红灯变成绿灯，绿灯又变成红灯，可是车子一点也动不了，一直等了九个红灯，到了第十个的`时候才通过。没想到，马路前面也堵车了，车窗外风大雨大，我真想不去上课了！可是妈妈说：“学习要坚持，不能半途而废！”，我们决定继续前进。本来二十分钟的路程，那天晚上我们开了整整一个小时。到了学校，我虽然迟到了一点，但是还是学到很多知识。
经过这件事，我知道了：学习要坚持，克服困难，取得成功。

一进教室，发现教我们的`是一位女老师。老师让我们每个同学都把名字写在黑板上。然后，又给我们每人取了一个英文名字。我的英文名叫“yellow”是黄色的意思。可能我那天穿了一件黄色的上衣，或者我本来就姓“王”。所以老师给我取了这样一个英文名。
开始上课了。老师放了一段动画片。让我们一边一边记。能记住的奖励鸡米花和薯条。我记住了3个，得到了三粒鸡米花。不知不觉得就放学了。
